Gray Barker
Fellow West Virginian Gray Barker was a noted UFOlogist who introduced the concept of “Men In Black.” He wrote numerous popular books and magazine articles, and even wrote The Silver Bridge, the predecessor to the goddamn Mothman Prophecies.
He was a skeptic who believed it was basically BS. The Wikipedia money quote: His sister Blanch explained that Barker only wrote the books for the money, and his friend James W. Moseley said Barker “pretty much took all of UFOlogy as a joke”.
Gray Barker, you’re my new hero.
